Este análisis de accesibilidad se realizará mediante herramientas informáticas como el TransCAD para calcular los tiempos medios de viaje y posteriormente en ArcGIS, se hallaran las curvas isócronas e isócronas gradientes que permiten obtener el ahorro de tiempo en la zona de estudio, y de esta forma cruzarlas con los datos de la población (POB) y producto interno bruto (PIB) para hallar el beneficio en termino de estas variablesAbstract: This document analyzes the territorial accessibility generated by the impact of the constructions of the “Tunel de la línea” and the additional highways located between the municipalities of Calarca (Quindío) and Cajamarca (Tolima), this new road infraestructure will improve enormously the communication between southwest with center and northeast of country, because the current highway has a tough topology that produces some delays and increase of operation costs specially in heavy load vehicles (Trucks), moreover a hypothetical case will be evaluated, It will simulate that not only the current highway but also “El túnel de la línea” are closed, by this reason the vehicular flow must take an alternative highway known as “paramo de letras” that connects the departments of Caldas and Tolima.
